Technical approval · 03

From drawing to production release.

Nothing goes to mass production on a verbal description. The approved technical document governs the order.

01 · DOCUMENT

Drawing / datasheet

The buyer's drawing, datasheet or BOM is reviewed against real manufacturing options and aligned with the selected line in writing.

Specification fixed
02 · SAMPLE

Sample where required

A sample or golden sample runs against the approved document, with the agreed inspection scope applied.

Where required
03 · APPROVAL

Buyer sign-off

The buyer approves the sample and technical documents. Deviations are corrected before release, not argued after arrival.

04 · RELEASE

Production release

Mass production releases against the approved document. The inspection scope and document set follow the contract.

Control points · 04

Quality, packing, documents.

What may be inspected, how the cargo is protected, and which documents travel with it. Inspection scope is agreed per contract, by the factory, Torix or an independent inspection company.

01 · QUALITY-CONTROL POINTS

Checked against the approved document.

Grade and defect checks per the agreed standard, thickness and size verification, packing conformity, with independent inspection at loading where agreed.

Buyer questions · 05

Asked often.

If your question isn't covered, email the desk, most first-time questions come back with a one-line answer and a supporting document.

What sizes count as jumbo?

Larger production sheets per the supplier's line capability, availability and exact dimensions are confirmed at quotation, along with the loading plan they require.

Can you mix thicknesses in one container?

Yes, within packing and weight constraints, the mix is itemised per crate on the packing list so receiving is straightforward.

Do you supply processed glass?

TRX-FG covers float glass as produced. Tempered solar glass runs under TRX-SG; other processed products are considered case by case.

How is quality graded?

Against the standard agreed in the contract for the application, the grading basis is stated in the quotation, not assumed.
